Benefit Billing and Reconciliation Specialist

The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious ­­­­­Benefit Billing and Reconciliation Specialist to join our team.

This position will report to our agency located in Mansfield, MA. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities

Billing Processing: Prepare and issue accurate, itemized statements, invoices, and fee requests, including those for premium financing. Inquiry Resolution: Act as a point of contact for Accounts Receivables, Payables, Account Reps and Producer inquiries regarding billing discrepancies, premium payments, and invoice details.

System Maintenance: Update agency management systems to maintain accurate client billing records and documentation. Client Communication: Liaise with in-house account contact and insurance carriers to resolve outstanding balances or payment issues.

Qualifications

Prior experience in billing or accounting within a professional service environment is preferred. Strong mathematical and analytical skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and experience with accounting or billing systems. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are critical. Proficiency in AMS and Excel Benefits: Company Paid Life Insurance, Long-Term and Short-Term Disability.

Compensation

$24.00-$25.00/hr.
