Essential Job Functions E Install HVAC equipment into residential customer homes per manufacturer specifications, company policy, local and state required codes. E Effectively perform the functions of equipment troubleshooting, installation, start-up, operation and other duties as required to ensure customer satisfaction.

E Perform installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems in residential buildings to AMI Quality Standards, required code and job specifications. E Perform installation of refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering. E Ensure gas line connections and fittings to are properly secured.

E Perform metal and wood hole cutting, framing and nailing outlets as required by job specifications. E Ensure functionality of thermostats to control HVAC system is operational. E Verify all materials and equipment required for each scheduled job and load into company vehicle. E Perform all duties in accordance with appropriate safety trainings and regulations as defined by company policy and procedure.

E Ensure that company vehicle is maintained and operated in accordance to company driving policy. E Provide knowledge, training and guidance to Install Helpers to assist in the development of skills necessary to perform HVAC installation job requirements. E Participate and attend all required employee meetings and trainings.

N Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Competencies This position requires strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written. This position requires a self-starter with excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and mechanical aptitude.

Education and Experience

This position requires a minimum of six months prior HVAC installation experience. Requires a high school diploma and/or any equivalent of education and experience to meet the essential functions of the job. Must have a valid driver’s license and remain insurable under our company insurance policy.
