Food Service Assistant

Kitchen Assistant (Part-Time) Deerfield Community School is seeking a dependable, energetic, and team oriented individual to join our Food Services team. If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment, preparing healthy meals for students, and being part of a supportive school community, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities include

Assist with the preparation and serving of breakfast and lunch. Prepare food items following established recipes and food safety guidelines. Serve meals to students and staff in a friendly and efficient manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, serving, and dining area. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

Assist with stocking and organizing food and supplies. Follow all local, state, and federal food safety and sanitation regulations. Work collaboratively as a member of the Food Services team. Perform other related duties as assigned. This is a part-time, school year position offering the opportunity to make a positive impact on students each day while working alongside a dedicated and supportive team.
