Design Engineer CoOp/Intern (Spring/Summer)

Mechanical Design Engineer Co‑Op: Support new and existing product designs by creating 3D CAD models/drawings, running tests and technical analysis, completing ECNs, and maintaining accurate engineering and certification documentation, while collaborating with Product Management, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Marketing, and the Certification Lab.

Responsibilities

Develop design solutions to enhance product integrity andmaintainhigh-quality standards. Prepare andfinalize. Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to release designs and related documentation to manufacturing facilities. Evaluate product performance through detailed testing and technical analysis. Recommend and implement engineering changes to ensure all products meet specifications and adhere to quality standards.

Design new products and product extensions based on detailed product specifications. Create and complete support documentationrequiredfor product certifications. Manage all engineering product documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Proficiencywith CAD tools for 3D modeling and design documentation Additional Information: Location: Greenville Corporate Office Less than 10% Travel Required Compensation The hourly rate is $20.
