About Pizzas & Cream What started as a backyard wood-fired oven experiment on our family farm has grown into a thriving restaurant known for handcrafted pizzas and homemade ice cream made with real ingredients and real care. We are now opening a brand-new second location in South Charleston July 2026, and we are looking for the right leader to help us bring that same community spirit to a new home.

The Role As a Shift Lead, you'll coordinate operations during your shift, manage team members, and ensure smooth service from kitchen to counter. You'll work alongside your team during busy periods while keeping things organized and running efficiently. This is a leadership role for someone ready to step up.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate team members during your shift Organize pizza production flow (dough tossing, topping, oven handling, finishing) Manage front-of-house operations (cashiers, ice cream service, order pickup) Jump in to help with pizza topping and order finishing during peak times Train new team members on stations and procedures Maintain food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards Handle customer concerns and ensure great service Communicate with Assistant Managers and GM about shift performance Open or close the restaurant following procedures What We're Looking For 6 months – 1 year of restaurant experience (required) Natural leadership ability and teamwork mindset Reliable, punctual, and responsible Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy service Strong communication skills Willingness to learn all aspects of operations Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Compensation & Benefits $13 – $14/hour (based on experience) Shared tip pool participation Full-time and part-time positions available Clear path to Assistant Manager for top performers Be part of our opening team

Pay: $13 - $14 per hour
