Lead, Radiation Therapist

The Radiation Oncology Lead will provide and perform oversight, delegation, and coordination of Radiation Oncology services to meet SMC standards of exceptional patient care. The Lead is responsible for providing operational leadership and direction in collaboration with the Oncology Director. Coordination of the day-to-day departmental operations, care coordination and comprehensive patient care to support the patient/family/caregiver prior to, during and following treatment is expected.

Other duties may include, but are not limited to clinic nursing patient care support, radiation therapist patient care support, provider operational support, quality improvement initiatives, equipment oversight, workflow management, and resource utilization.
