Manufacturing Director

Operations Management Direct and manage all manufacturing, processing, and distribution activities to ensure production targets are met efficiently and cost-effectively. Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all production and distribution processes. Ensure the facility operates in full compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies, including state cannabis regulations and OSHA standards.

Optimize production schedules and workflows to maximize output while maintaining product quality and consistency. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all manufacturing equipment and facilities. Inventory and Quality Control Manage and track all raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory using seed-to-sale tracking systems.

Implement robust quality control measures to ensure all products meet internal standards and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with cultivation and sales teams to align production forecasts with market demand. Minimize waste and loss in all stages of the manufacturing process. Team Leadership and Management Recruit, train, and manage all manufacturing and distribution personnel.

Foster a positive, productive, and safe working environment. Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and implement professional development plans for the team. Schedule shifts and manage labor resources effectively. Qualifications, Required Experience, and Skills Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations management role, preferably within the cannabis, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated CPG industry.

Proven experience in managing distribution logistics and complex inventory systems. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance within the cannabis industry is highly preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with seed-to-sale tracking software (e.g., Metrc, Leaf Data).

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
