Facility Maintenance Technician

• EARN UP TO $1,500 IN STAY BONUSES The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving KDM's facility infrastructure, building systems, and grounds to ensure a safe, efficient, and professional work environment. This position supports the day-to-day operation of the facility by performing preventative maintenance, responding to repair requests, coordinating building upkeep, and assisting with facility improvement projects. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, resourceful, and experienced in maintaining commercial, industrial, or manufacturing facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Preventative & Routine Facility Maintenance Building Systems Inspection & Repair Facility Troubleshooting & General Repairs Grounds & Exterior Maintenance Coordination Safety & Building Compliance Support Vendor, Contractor & Service Coordination Facility Improvement Projects Maintenance Documentation & Recordkeeping LOCATION This is a full-time, in-office position based in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.

IN OFFICE POSITION No Remote / No Hybrid COMPENSATION Starting at $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 3-5 years of facility, building, maintenance, construction, property maintenance, or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience performing preventative maintenance and facility repairs. General knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.

Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintenance requests. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including walking, climbing, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment. Experience with facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, and general building maintenance. Knowledge of fire protection, safety, and building compliance requirements. Landscaping, grounds maintenance, snow removal, or exterior property maintenance experience.

Experience coordinating outside vendors and service contractors. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification. Basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or carpentry skills.
