MBSE Systems Engineer

Required/Desired Skills, Experience, and Education Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens or permanent residents are eligible for consideration at this time. Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.

Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet critical project milestones. A minimum of 6 or more years of systems engineering experience including activities across the lifecycle (e.g., concepts, requirements, design support, integration, V&V) equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience using Cameo or similar tools for creation, analysis, and application of System Models to address systems development trades and architecture development.

Experience with communications systems including UHF, Wi. Fi, and cellular/5G. Experience with NASA human spaceflight programs, with related experience in the testing of spacecraft, spacesuits, space vehicles. Experience with Space Suits is preferred. A strong attention to detail while appreciating the bigger picture of complex and ambitious projects.

Excellent writing and presentation skills with experience communicating to senior decision-makers and technical audiences. Experience in Start-up organizations a plus Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering (aerospace, electrical, mechanical, or related discipline).
