Project Co-ordinator II
Job description
New Asia College Project Co-ordinator II The appointee will be responsible for (a) handling hostel applications, managing hostel places and other student hostel affairs; (b) supervising junior hostel staff; (c) organising the Asia Lions Club Thousand People Banquet; (d) co-ordinating non-residential student activities and providing secretarial support to the Sub-Committee on the Non-Residential Hall; (e) co-ordinating the College’s Orientation Camp with a focus on residential issues; (f) managing flats and rooms for staff and visitors; (g) organising the College’s Cultural Talks and providing secretarial support to its Committee; and (h) serving as the secretary to various committees and performing other duties as assigned by the College.
Working outside normal office hours may be required. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iii) good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills; (iv) good multi-tasking skills; and (v) the ability to work independently, and under pressure and tight schedules.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
