AI/ML Hardware Design and Verification Intern Engineer

Job Overview: We are looking for intern engineers who are excited to build their career in digital hardware design and verification! Working on innovative of AI/ML Arm IP, you’ll help shape technology that powers the next generation of mobile apps, smart devices, home automation, connected cities, self-driving cars, and much more!
What you could be doing as an AI/ML Hardware intern: Join a growing, highly skilled, and supportive team developing Machine Learning and Neural Network hardware. Collaborate with colleagues across our international design centres to contribute to the design and verification of Arm’s next-generation IP using the latest tools and methodologies.
Most meaningfully, you’ll bring passion to learn and curiosity to explore this exciting technology frontier. Given the global impact of this field, you’ll also have the opportunity to share your knowledge and ideas with other innovators across Arm reflecting our core beliefs and collaborative culture. We are looking for individuals who: Are currently enrolled and studying towards a Computer or Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelors, Masters or PhD students welcome).
Bachelors students should be in their 5-6th semester (or just before). Masters students should have at least 1.5 years of their studies still remaining. Also: Self-learners and excellent problem solvers Eager to learn sophisticated hardware design and verification techniques. Interest in programming and a talent for writing reliable, high-quality code.
Ability to address challenges and understand sophisticated systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Qualities that will help your application stand out: Understanding of digital hardware and familiarity with hardware description languages. Experience with object-oriented programming or similar frameworks.
Basic knowledge of computer architecture. Understanding of machine learning and neural networks. Additional Information: We encourage early applications as we review them on a first come/first served basis. Arm Internships require you to be enrolled in a higher education degree. During the application you will be asked to provide a Grade transcript.
