The Administrative Assistant II will perform high-level clinical and administrative tasks which will include triage patient cardiac clinical calls working closely with the RN triage team. Duties / Responsibilities: The Administrative Assistant II will provide comprehensive cardiac patient care coordination and clinical support in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities include

triaging high-volume patient calls, reviewing and communicating diagnostic and laboratory results, coordinating cardiac testing and procedures, and facilitating preoperative cardiac risk assessments. Support providers by managing medication prior authorizations, disability/FMLA documentation, and test order preparation in accordance with established clinical protocols.

Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, coordinate communication across multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and ensure timely, patient-centered service while adapting to changing departmental Position Qualifications: High School Graduate or GED required. 5 years medical assistant experience OR 5+ years’ experience in a direct patient care setting required.
