Laborer

Purpose The Laborer position is responsible for safely performing a variety of physically demanding tasks to support construction operations. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This position is primarily field-based and requires travel to active job sites.

Job Responsibilities

Perform duties as assigned. Work closely with Foreman and team members to ensure construction projects are completed to specifications and in a timely manner. Carry out construction projects, which may require the operation of a variety of hand and power tools. Maintain a clean job site, pick up all tools and equipment, and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.

Unload and load construction materials. Must be flexible and willing to learn and use new skills quickly.

Education and Experience

Previous experience in construction work or equivalent experience preferred. Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies preferred. Willing to work long hours if necessary. Skills and Specifications Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule. Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time, and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
