Associate consultant - Restructuring

• Geo to be supported US Roles & responsibilities KGS Deal Advisory Deal Analytics team is a cross-functional group and works on a wide variety of engagements in the public and private sectors. The work involves supporting clients in solving wider business and commercial problems .
• Liquidity Management: — Working effectively with personnel from a variety of disciplines (Clients, KPMG advisory teams, different geographies such as UK, US, India and Australia) to provide Data analytics driven advisory solutions to a wide variety of business challenges / problems — Application of analysis and modelling solutions to complex and diverse client problems / issues mainly focused on working capital management by data processing and data visualization — Experience working on areas related to Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and Forecast to Deliver
• Financial Restructuring: — Writing independent business reviews including business summary, cash flow forecasting, data books, scenario modelling from a lender’s or buy side to facilitate deals — Doing financial research and benchmarking for target companies — Other adhoc research
• Data analytics — Data processing using python/Alteryx/SQL — Profitability and cost reduction analysis using Power BI — Text analytics, statistical analysis etc.
• Worked on Generative AI platforms (GPT, Co-Pilot, Notebook LLM)
• Good to have experience working on Microsoft Fabric and cloud based platforms like Databricks, Azure, others Educational qualifications
• B.Tech/MBA/PGDM Work experience
• Experience of Data analytics, Financial Analysis, Business Modelling or Financial Modelling Mandatory technical & functional skills
• A good Understanding working knowledge of accounting, financial statements, and financial analysis, financial ratios;
• Understanding of working capital process
• Experience in Working Capital Optimization analysis(Account Payables & Receivables and Inventory Optimization)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; — Data wrangling and data processing skills — Advanced knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, Power Bi, Excel and T-SQL A commercial outlook and a good understanding of the general business and economic environment; and Preferred technical & functional skills
• Knowledge of R/Python would be a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of research databases like CapIQ, Debtwire would be a plus but not mandatory
