Adjunct Faculty - Criminal Justice

School of Professional Studies Adjunct Professor, Criminal Justice 2026-2027 Position Summary The School of Professional Studies is seeking qualified adjunct faculty members to teach undergraduate courses within the BA in Criminal Justice program. The program maintains a perspective focused on prevention and restoration and is built upon three core content areas: the law, the criminal justice system, and the individuals and organizations that connect them.

Courses are designed to prepare students for careers in law enforcement and related fields, as well as for graduate-level academic study. Other duties include working with the Dean and faculty to make improvements and updates to course content and delivery. Required Education and Experience Candidates must have a master’s degree in criminal justice/cyber security/history/political science or a related field.

Teaching experience is required. Serving at Cairn University Located in Langhorne, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Cairn University exists to educate students to serve Christ in the church, society, and the world as biblically minded, well-educated and professionally competent men and women of character. Students earn bachelor’s degrees in various areas including Bible, Education, Music, and Business Administration; and graduate degrees in Business, Divinity, Education, Organizational Leadership, Worship and Music, and Counseling.
