The Cook has a good working knowledge of food services. As a Cook, you will: Prepares meals for clients. Ensures that all procedures for infection control and sanitation are properly followed. Ensure all procedures for food preparation are followed and in compliance with food manager certification requirements. Orders supplies as needed, receives and stocks accordingly. Completes reports and forms necessary to comply with procedures. Assists in preparation for special events and holidays. Attends and participates in team meetings, staff meetings, and supervision as scheduled. Works collaboratively and communicates appropriately with other staff members. Responds respectfully and effectively to people of all cultures, classes, race, ethnic backgrounds, and religions in a manner that recognizes, affirms, and values the worth of individuals, families, and communities and protects and preserves the dignity of each. Adheres to ethical standards of professionalism including maintaining confidentiality of each child and their family, in compliance with HIPAA regulations and agency policies.
