Management Trainee - Operations

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Management Trainee – PTL Division to join our logistics operations team. The candidate will receive hands-on exposure to PTL operations, customer coordination, shipment planning, hub operations, documentation, transportation management, and last-mile delivery. The role is suitable for candidates who are interested in building a career in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, and Operations Management .

Key Responsibilities

Support day-to-day PTL operations and ensure smooth movement of shipments. Coordinate with customers, branches, hubs, transport vendors, and delivery teams. Assist in pickup planning, vehicle allocation, loading, unloading, and shipment movement . Monitor shipments from pickup to final delivery and follow up on delays or exceptions.

Assist in planning and coordinating line-haul and intercity transportation . Coordinate with vendors for vehicle availability and deployment. Monitor vehicle utilization, route planning, and transportation performance. Ensure proper LR, invoice, e-way bill, POD, and other shipment documentation . Track pending deliveries, RTO shipments, shortages, damages, and other operational issues.

Prepare daily and weekly operational reports and MIS. Support the team in maintaining TAT and service-level commitments . Identify operational gaps and support the team in implementing corrective actions. Assist in customer communication and resolving service-related issues. Coordinate with finance and operations teams regarding freight, billing, POD, and payment-related matters.
