Audit Manager - Rotterdam

Noord Global are working in partnership with a global professional services firm based in Rotterdam to hire an experienced Audit Manager into their team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering first-class external audit services to their clients and enjoys working with a diverse mix of clients. You will be an Audit Manager who is passionate about supporting the development of junior team members and promoting a positive, enjoyable working environment for your team.

In this role, you will work with large, listed international clients from a variety of (non-financial) industries. You will have a diverse portfolio and be enthusiastic about developing strong relationships with the clients you engage with. Working in Rotterdam, you can expect to find the perfect balance of an ex-pat friendly, multicultural environment whilst still having plenty of opportunities to enjoy traditional Dutch culture.

Main responsibilities Lead external audit engagements, ensuring quality, budget and deadline expectations are met Work with a clients from a variety of industry sectors and varying size from start-ups to multinational companies Develop strong, positive relationships with your clients and stakeholders Be a mentor and supervisor to junior staff, offering them support, feedback and guidance on an ongoing basis Assign work to junior team members during audit engagements and supervise as appropriate Participate in business development activities and proposal writing to further develop the client base of the firm To be considered for this role, you must have: A university degree in accounting or a related field A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, RA, or equivalent) Experience working with a consulting firm, ideally Big 4 or Top 10 Previous external audit experience, ideally already at Audit Manager level Fluent English language skills If this role sounds like something you would be interested in, please click apply or email contact@noordglobal.
