Independent Study Special Education Teacher- K-12 Grades at Will Employment

Job Description / Essential Elements Under the general direction of the Principal, facilitate educational services between the school, parent and student. Orientate the parent and student on program contents and school requirements. Develop individualized curriculum to address student’s academic needs. Meet with student/parent in a weekly one hour meeting on the school site.

Administer and score mastery tests; recommend curriculum; assist in selecting materials and resources; collect, audit and submit required paperwork to the school on a monthly basis; submit all progress reports and report cards by the quarterly deadlines.

• Education Specialist Instruction Credential Mild to Moderate (Intern credential included) Standard employment documents: CA Credential; CA driver's license; Driver's License Copy Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation Resume
