Job description

Master. Mold LLC is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Robotic Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial robotic systems, production presses, and supporting equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations.

We are seeking candidates with varying levels of technical experience, from individuals developing their industrial maintenance skills to experienced technicians capable of independently diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues. This position offers a structured career progression through three Robotic Technician levels, with opportunities for professional development and advancement based on demonstrated technical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial robotic systems, manufacturing presses, slitters, and auxiliary equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and equipment-related issues to minimize production downtime. Assist with tooling and mold changes, including component replacement, alignment, and equipment testing.

Diagnose equipment alarms, identify root causes of malfunctions, and perform necessary repairs. Operate and troubleshoot multi-axis industrial robots and collaborative robotic systems. Inspect, lubricate, adjust, and replace mechanical components, including bearings, cables, hoses, and other wear items. Perform equipment inspections and diagnostic testing to identify potential failures before they occur.

Follow established lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and verify proper operation of equipment safety systems. Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure equipment performance and product quality. Verify equipment functionality and safe operating conditions following maintenance or repairs. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and shift-to-shift communication.

Assist with continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, efficiency, and downtime reduction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing equipment repair, robotics, or a related technical field preferred. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment. Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Experience working with industrial robots, automated equipment, or manufacturing presses is a plus.

Understanding of preventive maintenance practices and industrial safety procedures. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and work order management. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while collaborating with Engineering and Production teams.

Willingness to learn new equipment, technologies, and troubleshooting techniques Monday-Thursday 6pm-6am
