ActivKids: Before and After School Lead

ActivKids: Before & After School Lead (2026 - 2027 School Year) Salary & Benefits:

• Starting at $16.00/hour - $17.00/hour.
• Complimentary Fitness Center and Coral Cove Water Park membership, two Coyote Crossing Mini Golf Passes, recognition awards, and social activities. Shifts Available:
• Part-time position (employees do not work more than 1,000 hours in a calendar year).
• Monday
• Friday (6:15am - 8:45am)
• Monday (2:00pm - 6:30pm)
• Tuesday
• Friday (3:30pm - 6:30pm) Job Requirements Active, enthusiastic, and caring individuals needed to care for children in the park districts' Before & After School Program. ActivKids operates at all six District 93 Elementary Schools.

Responsibilities include

interacting with children, encouraging social growth, and leading children in activities such as craft projects, organized games (indoor & outdoor), along with set-up and clean up. Children's ages range from kindergarten to 5 th grade. Opportunity for additional hours in ActivKids Days Off Club program.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred.
• Patience, caring, and enthusiasm are a must.
• Ability to interact well with parents and children.
• CPR Certification a plus.
• Staff 18+ must complete driver's abstract and train to drive park district vans/small bus.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Minimum age: 18
