Open Rank in Orthopaedics-Total Joint/Adult Reconstruction

The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine is actively seeking a full-time faculty member who is fellowship trained in Total Joint/Adult Reconstruction. The successful candidates will join other faculty in the Division of Total Joint/Adult Reconstruction in the Department.

This academic appointment is in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation. The position will be based at UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center (SRMC) and the University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH). Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position provides a unique opportunity for rapid clinical practice growth, collaborative multidisciplinary clinical and translational research, and an active role in the orthopaedic residency training program.

Applicants should possess excellent interpersonal, clinical and teaching skills, and should be board certified or eligible for certification and eligible for licensure in the state of New Mexico. The University of New Mexico Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is in the midst of a growth-oriented transformation, with the addition of the UNM Center of Excellence for Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at the UNM SRMC campus.
