Position Overview
As the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at the Family Office, you will hold a critical role in overseeing and managing our diversified investment portfolio, which includes debt, public equities, and private equity or venture capital investments. You will provide strategic leadership, investment direction, and risk management to ensure the long-term financial success and growth of our family's wealth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive investment strategies that align with the family's financial goals and risk tolerance.
- Provide leadership and oversight of all investment activities, including asset allocation, portfolio construction, and manager selection across debt, public equities, and private equity or venture capital asset classes.
- Monitor and assess the performance of existing investments and recommend adjustments as necessary to optimize returns and manage risks.
- Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities, conducting thorough due diligence and risk assessments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external investment managers, advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and information flow.
- Stay informed about global economic and financial market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging investment opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular investment reports and performance updates to the family's investment committee and key stakeholders.
- Manage and lead a team of investment professionals, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Work closely with the family to understand their financial objectives and provide tailored investment advice and solutions.
