Position Overview

This position combines office responsibilities with hands-on rental operations. The ideal candidate enjoys customer interaction, staying organized, and working around commercial trucks and equipment. This is not strictly a desk job. Team members regularly assist with equipment check-ins, check-outs, inspections, and yard activities to support daily operations.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming customer calls and provide outstanding customer service. Coordinate truck and equipment rentals, returns, and related documentation. Assist with truck and equipment check-ins and check-outs. Conduct basic equipment inspections and document condition reports. Assist the Branch Manager with rental and sales activities.

Process rental agreements, customer paperwork, billing, and invoicing. Assist with collections and account follow-up. Verify customer insurance and credit requirements. Order and maintain office supplies and inventory. Support daily yard and branch operations as needed. Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred. 4 years of experience in an office, administrative, customer service, or similar environment preferred. Previous rental or equipment industry experience strongly preferred. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (listening, verbal, and written).

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to learn company rental and business systems. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
