Procurement Industrial Year Placement (Materials & Services Buying)

Purpose of Role To support the Central Procurement Team in delivering strategic procurement activities, driving value through effective sourcing and supplier engagement, maintaining governance and compliance standards, and contributing to operational efficiency across MWH Treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support reporting and analytics for category performance, including spend, savings and supplier KPIs.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery.
• Assist with tender documentation and bid evaluations.
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues where necessary.
• Maintain clean and accurate data in procurement systems (P2P).
• Contribute to sustainability and compliance initiatives.
• Provide administrative support and assist with audits.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and share best practices.
• Support category management activities and sourcing initiatives.
