Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D FT Nights

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus Directs nursing service activities of the Labor and Delivery Department. Renders specialized professional nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery. Treats patients and their families with courtesy and respect. Creates a trusting attitude in both parents towards nursing and helps them accept their responsibility as parents.

In support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. Work encompasses direct and indirect patient care. Minimum Education: Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing Minimum Experience: RN with a minimum of 1 year of L&D experience required Required Certification: BLS, NRP, ACLS & Fetal Monitoring requiredRequired Licensure: Valid Texas RN license Note – Required certifications are to be completed by 3 months of employment.
