Job description

Professional Counselor part - time, variable shift at Providence Portland Medical Ctr-Portland(HR) The Professional Counselor practices in a treatment setting under clinical supervision and is dedicated to evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric and substance use disorders. The Professional Counselor will collaborate with patient/support system to evaluate and diagnose patients.

Group Facilitation, Safety Planning, Milieu Management, Member of Interdisciplinary Care Team on Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Unit Required Qualifications: Master's Degree

  • Counseling or related field. Oregon Professional Counselor License upon hire or, Oregon Oregon Professional Counselor Associate License
  • Oregon Board of Licensed Counselors and Therapists upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

1 year

  • Master's level practicum in a behavioral health setting in an accredited college or university internship. Additional experience in substance use treatment setting. Why Join Providence?
