Job description
The Registered Nurse has responsibility and accountability for assuring the delivery of quality nursing care for a designated patient and/or group of patients in accordance with individual patient needs, physician orders, hospital and departmental policies, NEC's PSO Guidelines, Indiana Nurse Practice Act, and the ANA Code of Ethics.
Utilizing job performance standards, the RN provides clinical nursing leadership with quality care and a research-based practice to achieve mutually agreed upon goals. Maintains confidentiality of information regarding patients, significant others and all health care team members. Participates in efforts to improve nursing practice.
