Business View Platform - cDB2 Platform Admin

Responsibilities

Administer and support the cDB2 (Cloud DB2) platform within the Business View Platform environment. Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain DB2 database environments across development, testing, and production. Monitor database health, performance, capacity, and availability. Perform database backup, recovery, restore, and disaster recovery activities. Support database migrations, modernization initiatives, and platform upgrades. Troubleshoot database performance issues, connectivity problems, and application-related incidents. Manage user access, roles, privileges, and database security controls. Automate routine administrative tasks using Shell Scripting, Python, or Ansible. Work closely with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure platform stability. Perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
