Events Bartender

The Bartending Staff is responsible for greeting customers, learning about their preferences, answering questions, recommending menu items, and preparing and serving beverages and food. This is a SEASONAL/AS NEEDED position that reports to the Wedding and Events Manager DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Accurately complete cash, credit card and gift card transactions using point of sale system Be available for private tastings for couples selecting their Signature Drinks Maintain sanitation of the preparation and service areas Stock condiments, napkins, straws, etc.

for guest use Clean tables and chairs, sweep/mop floors and empty trash in the bar/dining area Check customer’s identification to ensure they are of legal drinking age Mix all drinks based on the standard serving sizes, keeping drink costs at a minimum Participate in other projects and activities as assigned EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE 1+ year experience bartending TIPS training required State required certification QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Basic computer skills Positive, engaging personality, strong work ethic and professional appearance Strong organizational, motivational, and leadership skills Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays Work with minimal supervision Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS Able to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to remain in a stationary position, occasionally in warm temperatures Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, serve, etc.
