Mental Health Therapist Job Type: Full-Time / Exempt Job Location: Muskegon, MI Hackley Community Care (HCC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality, integrated healthcare services to the residents of Muskegon County. Position Overview
The Mental Health Therapist will provide individual, trauma-focused therapy and trauma-informed care to patients in a primary care and walk-in clinical setting. The therapist will collaborate closely with medical providers and other members of the care team to coordinate behavioral health services and support positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include
Providing individual mental health therapy, including trauma-focused and trauma-informed care. Completing timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). Providing patient education and support. Performing ADHD testing, as appropriate. Making appropriate referrals and coordinating care with internal and external providers.
Collaborating with medical providers and other members of the integrated care team. Maintaining a caseload in which at least 50% of patients are young children.

Active, unrestricted Michigan license in good standing as a master's-level social worker or counselor. Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification. Active Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) certification preferred. Experience providing mental health therapy, including the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat within the scope of licensure.
Strong professional communication skills with patients, staff, medical providers, and other healthcare professionals. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, coworkers, and community partners. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
