Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of the particular activity and the related experience as determined by the board. Ability to foster and sustain students' interest in the activity and promote skill development. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Reports to: Athletic Coordinator Job Goal: The Alpine Ski Coach is responsible for providing students in grades 5-8 with the opportunity to participate on an Alpine Ski team and to learn about the sport. Performance Responsibilities: To generate student interest in Alpine Skiing. Collaborate with student athletes on ways to improve and best foster a sense of belonging in a team environment.

Direct, encourage, and motivate athletes to prepare them for competitions. Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of individual athletes and opposing teams. Plan strategies and choose team members for each competition. Work closely with other coaches and Athletic Coordinator Coordinate the issue and return of uniforms Maintain a record of athletes times and publicize the results of each meet in local newspapers (i.

e., Concord Monitor). Write up results to be read by team members on school announcements.
