Position Summary

This role is a territory-based sales position focused on building and maintaining strong customer relationships while driving revenue growth in the chemical products market with specific emphasis on, but not limited to, the water-treatment area. The position involves identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and delivering excellent customer service.

Success in this role requires strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The role also emphasizes collaboration with internal teams and adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial, industrial, and technical customers within an assigned territory. Promote and sell chemical products, ingredients, and services to meet sales and profitability targets. Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts through sales strategies and market analysis.

Prepare quotes, sales contracts, and process customer orders while maintaining accurate sales records. Provide high-quality customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and communicating new offerings. Support sales promotions, marketing initiatives, and territory growth objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and overall company success.

Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Valid driver’s license Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, technical procedures, and regulations Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong presentation and customer service skills Ability to analyze data and perform calculations (discounts, percentages, commissions, pricing) Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Marketing, or related field – or relevant job experience.

1–3 years of B2B sales experience and/or related training Prior chemical industry experience Prior knowledge of water treatment chemicals specifically Experience using CRM systems Equivalent combinations of education and experience Work Environment: Must reside within 60 miles (driving distance) of our office at 4504 Table Mountain Dr.
