This team operates like an internal SWAT team, tackling complex business challenges, rapidly prototyping new ideas, and delivering production-ready AI-powered applications that create measurable business value. This is a hands-on engineering role for builders who thrive in fast-moving environments. We're looking for senior developers who can take ideas from concept to production while working across the full technology stack.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled applications supporting client and deal management workflows
• Build modern full-stack solutions from frontend through backend services and data platforms
• Integrate generative AI, LLMs, and intelligent automation capabilities into business applications
• Develop scalable APIs, microservices, and data-driven solutions
• Partner directly with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and rapidly deliver innovative solutions
• Build proof-of-concepts and transform them into enterprise-grade applications
• Leverage Snowflake and modern data architectures to power analytics and AI experiences
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and business teams to solve complex problems
• Drive innovation through experimentation, continuous learning, and adoption of emerging technologies

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on Java development experience
• Experience building full-stack enterprise applications
• Experience working with Snowflake and large-scale data environments
• Experience developing AI-enabled, machine learning, or Generative AI applications
• Strong understanding of API development, system integration, and cloud-native architectures
• Experience developing scalable, production-grade solutions
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience within Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Asset Management, or Financial Services
• Knowledge of client lifecycle management, CRM, deal management, or front-office workflows
• Experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and AI agents
• Experience working in innovation labs, incubators, or rapid-delivery engineering teams
• Familiarity with modern cloud platforms and data engineering principles

We are committed to fair, transparent pay, and we strive to provide competitive compensation in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. The base pay rate for this position is $119,000 USD.

This pay rate represents mthree's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting and based on the locations listed in the job advertisement. It is anticipated that qualified candidates selected for a placement will receive this pay rate as a starting salary once onsite with the mthree client, however, the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
