We are a new clinic in NW Washington, DC, currently providing ABA Therapy and expanding to include Speech and Occupational Therapy. Sessions at Bright Day are active, play-based, and built around connection. Therapy here doesn't look like drills at a table. It looks like building a tower, raising a hand to share at circle time, or helping a child find a new way to ask for what they need, with clinical intention behind each interaction.

About the BCBA Role Bright Day Pediatric Therapies seeks BCBAs to join our vibrant, interdisciplinary practice located in Washington, DC. Our team delivers a supportive, transparent, and sustainable practice environment that ensures work-life balance for our clinicians, as well as autonomy in their practice and treatment decisions.

Clinically, we focus on producing the highest-quality programs for our clients, leading to consistent progress and best-in-class outcomes. Our approach is grounded in cultural responsiveness, collaboration, empowerment, and integrity, with a spotlight on reducing the case management burden that families carry. Bright Day is 100% center-based, which means less time driving and more time for focus and impact with clients.

We actively foster the connection between therapists, clients, and families at hand-offs and through trainings and events, because we believe these relationships help children carry skills into their daily life. Our team is passionate about making access to high-quality, coordinated care simpler for families, and about building sustainability for our clinicians.

For this position, we’d especially love to meet BCBAs who are seeking late-afternoon and early-evening hours (up to 6:30pm). Our space is newly renovated, inclusive, and built specifically for children with sensory processing challenges. We have free onsite garage parking for staff and families. Our clinic is approximately 15 minutes’ drive from Arlington, Alexandria, Chevy Chase, Bethesda, Upper NW neighborhoods, and Downtown DC.

Learn more at www.brightdaykids.com . How Our Model Works Center-based, no travel. Your whole caseload is under one roof, and you supervise in the room alongside the RBT and client. Collaborative to Our Core . Our whole clinical team works side by side in one clinic every day. You watch programs run live and fix problems the same day, and we share ideas openly and pitch in for each other.

Our RBTs work with a varied mix of children in 2–4 hour blocks, so a single cancellation doesn’t wipe out their paycheck. They stay with us, so you spend less time retraining new staff. Peers built into the program. Children spend part of their day in structured small groups, so you can write peer and social goals and your clients can practice them with real peers.

That’s hard to do in home-based ABA. Documentation that doesn’t get in the way. We use Passage Health, one of the industry’s most intuitive EMRs. It’s built for real-time data collection that’s quick and unobtrusive, so you and your team are present with the child, not buried in a laptop. Growth for You: We provide clinic-level CEU subscriptions, cover the cost of training related to your work in the clinic, and hold quarterly professional-development reviews to support your career goals.

Clear Workload Expectations: Caseloads vary based on the complexity of each child’s needs and the number of hours each child spends in the clinic. Full-time means 40 hours per week, excluding lunch: about 30 billable clinical hours, with the remaining time set aside for administrative work such as RBT training, reviews, session-note checks.

We set these expectations so the role stays sustainable over the long term. Administrative support . Our Executive Director and Clinic Coordinator handle authorizations, billing, and scheduling, so your time goes to clinical work. One Place for Families: We aim to make high-quality care simpler for families. Children receive coordinated services under one roof, and our team helps carry the case-management load that often falls on parents.
