Fabrications Support - Entry Level

Job Summary

The position will be responsible primarily to clean, prep, and cut parts, and be a backup to the primary welder/painter. The work will need to be completed in a timely, cost effective and safe manner.

Requirements

Cleaning and general maintenance of the paint booth. Backup to the primary welder and painter. Cutting material with a band saw. Operation of a plasma cutter. Produce quality work while maintaining a high level of production. Follow procedures that ensure work is completed correctly and efficiently. Maintain a safe and clean manufacturing environment.

Regularly required to stand, bend, kneel, reach, climb ladders, and move about the facility. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times. Maintain a customer-friendly attitude when interacting with internal and external customers. Handle multiple projects concurrently. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities: Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to produce high-quality work while maintaining a high level of productivity.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent. Two or more years of experience in related trade. Training will be required as time and duties evolve. Future certifications may be required. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform frequent bending, lifting, and moving of materials. Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs.
