Senior Static Equipment Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Static Equipment Engineer with 10–12 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical, or EPC industry. The candidate will be responsible for static equipment engineering, design, preparation and review of equipment datasheets and specifications, mechanical calculations, vendor document review, technical bid evaluation, and multidisciplinary coordination.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with pressure vessels, columns, reactors, drums, heat exchangers, storage tanks, separators, filters, and other static equipment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities Perform static equipment engineering activities for FEED, basic and detailed engineering projects. Prepare and review equipment datasheets, specifications, material requisitions, and technical documents. Design and review static equipment such as pressure vessels, columns, reactors, drums, heat exchangers, storage tanks, and separators.

Prepare and review mechanical design calculations for equipments. Review equipment GA drawings, vendor drawings, calculations, and technical documents. ( Fabrication at workshop experience in past is preferrable). Prepare Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs) and review vendor quotations and technical offers. Coordinate with vendors for technical queries and document closure.

Coordinate with all internal disciplines for project delivery. Ensure equipment design complies with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable codes and standards. Participate in design reviews and technical discussions with clients and vendors. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support resolution of engineering issues.

Should be able to involve in management discussions for improvisation of team and actively involved for betterment of organisation. Codes & Standards Good working knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as: ASME Section VIII Div. 1 / Div. 2 ASME Section II, V & IX API 650, API 620 API 660, API 661 API 510 TEMA ASTM NACE / AMPP Client and project-specific specifications Software Knowledge PV Elite Compress AutoCAD MS Excel / MS Word Navisworks or other 3D model review tools Required Skills Strong knowledge of applicable engineering codes and standards.

Good analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to independently handle equipment engineering activities and work within project schedules. Good Managerial skills
