We are currently partnering with a local home health agency to find the right candidate for the following position: Personal Care Assistant For the following counties: Cobb Fulton Dekalb Gwinnett Responsibilities: The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for carrying out health care and homemaker tasks, in accordance with the care plan developed by a registered nurse or licensed therapist, to assist an elderly or disabled client.

These tasks include assistance with personal care, ambulation and exercise, and household services essential to the well-being of the client. The tasks are performed at the client’s home. Tasks: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and ambulating Assist with homemaker activities including: meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry and errands Assist with medically related tasks including: medication reminders and accompanying to medical appointments Requirements: Current CNA certification in the state of Georgia
