Treasury Management Officer
Job description
General Description: This full-time position supports the delivery, implementation, and ongoing development of Treasury Management services for business customers and internal bank partners.
Responsibilities include
assisting customers with Treasury Management product setup, onboarding, service changes, training, and ongoing relationship support; responding to inquiries and recommending appropriate solutions; and monitoring services such as ACH Origination, Positive Pay, and Remote Deposit Capture. The position reviews daily activity, reports, exceptions, and transactional data to identify trends, service needs, operational issues, and suspicious activity; supports service maintenance and problem resolution; and maintains complete and accurate documentation.
Additional responsibilities include compiling and analyzing Treasury Management activity and customer usage information, assisting with product demonstrations and internal education, supporting customer retention and product utilization efforts, and coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.
The position also provides backup support for Treasury operations and the Wire Transfer Department as needed. Skills and Characteristics for Applicants: The qualified individual should be highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Strong written, verbal, consultative, and interpersonal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to provide customer and employee training, analyze information, solve problems, exercise sound judgment, and work independently with general supervision. Applicants should have knowledge of Treasury Management products and operational processes, customer onboarding and implementation support, and applicable bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Technical proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and banking-related software is also required. Educational Requirements: Educational and experience requirements include an associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college, preferably in finance, business, or a related field, plus a minimum of four years of related experience with an emphasis on Treasury Management, deposit operations, customer implementation, or related financial services responsibilities.
Experience supporting business customers, product setup, training, and cross-functional coordination is preferred. A bachelor’s degree or additional related education in the financial services industry is preferred. Texas Gulf Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
