Wellness Center Staff (8am-4pm)

Description PAY: $10.17-$12.00/Hour POSITION TYPE: Part-time BENEFITS: FREE Y MEMBERSHIP!! 50% Employee Only Discount on YMCA Programs CPR/AED/First Aid Certification Provided Upon Employment Flexible Hours Work Schedule: Flexible, with various hours available, 8:00-12:00pm | 12:00-4pm This position is responsible for providing guidance, leadership, and service in the Wellness Center and throughout the YMCA facility.

Additional responsibilities include providing building manager and emergency response for the YMCA during assigned hours.

Requirements

Must be able to perform physical functions necessary to program instruction, including but not limited to squatting, bending, kneeling, spotting program participants and demonstrating use of Wellness Center equipment. Passion for wellness, an understanding of individual challenges with achieving wellness goals, and strong relationship-building skills.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries at an individual or small group level. Possess initiative, motivational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. CERTIFICATIONS: CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.
