HGV Jet Vac Driver

Walsh Waste & Recycling is seeking a reliable, customer-focused HGV Jet Vac Truck Driver to join our Liquid team. Reporting to the Liquid Waste Operations Manager, this position offers the opportunity to work with a growing company committed to safety, service excellence and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Operation of Jet Vac Tanker: Safely and efficiently operate the Jet Vac Tanker, including the operation of vacuum and jetting equipment, in compliance with company and industry standards. Safety: Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to traffic regulations.

Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the Jet Vac Tanker, reporting any issues or defects promptly. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any maintenance or service performed on the vehicle. Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their needs and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergency situations, such as spills or blockages, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks and protect the environment. Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members, including technicians and dispatch, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
