Description General Assembler Location: Lake in the Hills, IL Schedule: 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 1pm-11:30pm Compensation: $16.50-$18.50/hr - plus $2.50 shift differential if applicable Why Join AFC? This position ensures materials are accurately cut, inspected, looped, rolled, and inventoried while maintaining quality standards, production efficiency, and a safe work environment.

What You'll Do

Inspect incoming and in-process materials to ensure compliance with quality standards during production. Loop clamshell parts using 700-degree looping equipment. Roll, package, and prepare finished products for storage or shipment. Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods. Complete all required inventory transactions accurately within the company's ERP system.

Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas, machinery, tools, and equipment. Demonstrate and uphold AFC's Core Values in all aspects of daily work. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You'll Bring

High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred. Experience operating cutting equipment, material handling equipment, or converting machinery is a plus. Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions, job orders, procedures, and safety documentation in English.
