• Friday: 7:15 am - 12:45 pm (27.5 hrs/wk) Monday
• Friday: 12:15 pm - 5:45 pm (27.5 hrs/wk) Monday
• Friday: 7:15 am - 3:45 pm (40 hrs/wk) Monday
• Friday: 9:15 am - 5:45 pm (40 hrs/wk) Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour (based on education and experience) The Grace Beginnings Academy Infant Assistant Teacher is passionate about caring for young learners in a Christ-centered environment. The ideal candidate works collaboratively with the lead teacher and supports each child’s growth in physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development. This role helps implement Christ-centered lessons and activities rooted in play and exploration. Support classroom educational experiences as directed by the classroom teacher. Assist in completing daily activity documentation and incident/behavior reports as directed by the classroom teacher. Communicate and collaborate effectively with the classroom teacher to support daily routines, classroom management, and the overall learning environment. Assist the classroom teacher in maintaining a safe, clean, organized classroom, and take responsibility for completing the duties required to keep the facility orderly. Assist in prepping learning materials as directed by the classroom teacher. Approach behavioral issues that arise with children with Christ-centered love, respect and patience. At drop-off or pick-up, foster positive relationships with parents. Facilitate the classroom routines and activities when the classroom teacher is absent. Attend all required training and staff meetings throughout the year. Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is an essential requirement of this position. Maintain licensing compliance. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Educational requirements: High School Diploma required Experience required: Must meet licensing requirements for an assistant Has a commitment to prayer, as evidenced in both corporate and personal prayer. Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Exhibits a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations.
