Job Title: Mid-Level SQL Server DBA / SQL SME – DBA II Location: Washington, DC 20401 Notes- This is a remote Role. Job Description GPO is seeking a Mid-Level SQL Server DBA / SQL SME to provide operational database administration and production support for SQL Server and SQL Cluster environments.

• Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Support SQL Server Cluster environments.
• Build and configure SQL databases.
• Perform SQL scripting.
• Execute backup, restore, and recovery activities.
• Support HA/DR implementation and testing.
• Perform patching and database/server maintenance.
• Conduct database performance tuning and optimization.
• Monitor databases and respond to alerts.
• Support Idera and SolarWinds monitoring activities.
• Troubleshoot SQL, SQL Server, and integration issues.
• Manage ServiceNow incidents, requests, and RFCs.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Implement security and auditing controls.
• Develop operational scripts and automation. Skills/experience of the assigned staff: Required
