Behavioral Health Therapist – Independent Contractor
Job description
Hope Network is seeking skilled, independent therapists to deliver high-quality behavioral health services to adults, children, and families across Michigan. This opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking flexibility, competitive earnings, and autonomy in their practice. This is a business-to-business independent contractor opportunity, not an employment position.
Contractors maintain autonomy over their practice, including their schedule and caseload, while accessing Hope Network's operational, credentialing, technology, and billing support. Flexible Scheduling: Choose when and where you work (telehealth or in-person). Competitive Compensation: Fee-for-service model with market-aligned reimbursement rates.
Hassle-Free Billing: Efficient and transparent payment processing. Credentialing Assistance: We facilitate insurance paneling to streamline your practice. Technology & Resources: Secure access to electronic medical records and telehealth platforms. Operational Support: Non-clinical administrative assistance so you can focus on patient care.
What You’ll be Doing: Provide therapy services to individuals, families, and groups. Conduct comprehensive assessments to guide treatment plans. Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to client needs. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Coordinate care and referrals with relevant community resources.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related human services field. Active Michigan licensure (LLMSW, LMSW, LLP, LLPt, LPC, LLPC, LMFT). Experience delivering mental health therapy services (preferred). Ability to work independently while adhering to professional ethics and legal standards. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Contractors manage their own tax obligations, liability insurance, and benefits. This engagement is a contractual business-to-business relationship, not an employment arrangement. If you’re a passionate mental health professional seeking autonomy with operational support, apply today to join our network of independent therapists!
Hope Network is an Equal Opportunity Organization.
