Job Description: This associate is the person responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventory transactions within the production floor and ensuring proper inventory accuracy business processes are being followed. To accomplish this, the associate is familiar with multiple systems (SAP Atlas, SRS, MES -Manufacturing Execution Systems, Nexus, etc.)
, and work with multiple audiences (LT, Value Stream leaders, R&D, S&F, system functional experts and contractors). This role provides the first level of support for Data & Inventory Control questions and is responsible for monitoring site business process conformance and implementing process continuous improvements. What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics preferred or applicable work experience. 3 + years of relevant work experience in operations, scheduling and/or logistics related environment. Completed degree could be substituted for work experience. Expertise in managing inventories, BOMs, Recipes, using SAP and/or troubleshooting system transactional errors a plus.
What will be your key responsibilities? Coordinates FIFO audits between SAP and actual consumption. Supports Operation associates on timely WIP inventory clean up and initiates problem-solving activities, ensuring that errors are corrected by the appropriate associates and that understanding is gained about standard processes.
Assures data is consistent with the documented GRD standards. Provides support for analyzing and correcting transactional SAP (COGI) errors providing guidance for resolution. Provides the functional support for Data & Inventory Control questions at the Henderson site. Monitors site business processes conformance and reports business issues.
CP0/CP1 and CP2 inventory reporting and follow up management. Analyzes transactional problems and is proactive at initiating improvements. Support local implementation of SAP upgrades and provide input specific to onsite functional requirements. Provides end user training on SAP transactions, consumption, and waste management.
Member of the Key User community on inventory management. Supports and assists in the development and testing of future system enhancements. Documents and coordinates changes in business processes on inventory flow. Audits SAP reports and is an expert resource for problem resolution. Works with other Key Users at the site, other sites and with Functional Experts to ensure problems are resolved quickly by the correct support channel.
Coordinates weekly cycle counts and is responsible for full annual cycle counts. Owns and manages Hold/Expiration weekly meetings. The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.
