Job description

Posting Title: Urologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹400,000 to ₹450,000 LPM Work Experience: 1 Year Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with genitourinary disorders.
  • Conduct a full range of urological surgeries, including open, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted procedures.
  • Provide expert care in the management of benign and malignant conditions of the kidneys, bladder, prostate, ureters, urethra, and male reproductive system.
  • Perform advanced surgical techniques such as cystectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, TURP, vasectomy, pyeloplasty, ureteral reimplantation, orchiectomy, and kidney stone surgery.
  • Implant and manage penile prostheses for patients with erectile dysfunction.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and imaging modalities to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, nephrologists, and other specialists in multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous professional development.
  • Mentor and train junior medical staff, residents, and medical students in urological procedures and patient management.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. Requirements:
  • MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Urology (MD/MS in Urology) from a recognized medical institution.
  • Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or equivalent regulatory body.
  • Minimum of 1 year of postgraduate clinical experience in a hospital or tertiary care setting.
  • Proven expertise in performing advanced urological surgeries including cystectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, TURP, vasectomy, pyeloplasty, ureteral reimplantation, orchiectomy, kidney stone surgery, and penile prosthesis implantation.
  • Proficiency in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical techniques.
  • Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills with a patient-first approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and adherence to clinical guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with attention to detail and precision.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties and emergency surgical interventions as required.
