Administrative Associate

City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift Rotating Overview: Sentara Leigh Hospital is seeking an Administrative Associate for the Emergency Department! Status/Shift: Part-Time (24 hours/week), Rotating shift (works both Day and Night shifts) Position Location: Sentara Leigh Hospital Emergency Department Overview Provides administrative support to the unit or department assigned.

Serves as first point of contact for patients, family members and visitors on unit assigned requiring the application of excellent customer service skills.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required) Experience 1 year of healthcare experience (Preferred) Previous Experience working in a Fast-paced Environment (Strongly Preferred) Excellent Customer Service Experience (Strongly Preferred) Medical Office Experience (Preferred) Computer Savvy with Microsoft Office Skills (Strongly Preferred) Keywords: Admin, administrative, check in, front desk, notary, Talroo-Allied Health, Administrative Associate, Clerical Support, Receptionist, Call Center We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $19.53 - $28.86 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
