Laundry Aide

We are Regency Care of Rogue Valley, a skilled nursing community providing quality care to the residents we serve, located in Grants Pass, OR. We are looking for caring & compassionate resident minded individuals to join our team. Part-Time / Weekend As a Laundry Aide, you will assist in all aspects of laundering resident clothing and facility linens.

You will: Fold and distribute clean linens. Clean dryer lint screens Inspect mechanical lift slings and sling straps for fraying and wear Keep residents' closet/drawers orderly Minimize infections by following aseptic techniques, including blood-borne pathogens. Relate and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.

Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents. You Currently: Have excellent customer service skills. Read, write, speak and understand English. Have compassion and interest in working with the senior population Can work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
