Lead, Surgery Scheduler

The Surgery Scheduler Lead is responsible for coordinating the patient’s surgery to include making reservations at the hospital, arranging anesthesia, communicates with PCP offices, coordinates with vendors of surgical devices/implants representatives and surgical assistants, providing the necessary education, instructions, and paperwork, and confirming all steps with all parties before the surgery date.

This position requires knowledge of insurances and commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures. Also responsible for assisting Surgery Scheduling Leadership with daily tasks, reports, and training.
